Escutcheon – uncovered

Escutcheons are used as an aesthetic surround for the key insert section on the face of the door. Their small, minimalistic design complements the traditional lever lock designs and enables it to be used with a larger handle or knob with a backing plate, giving enough space for the backing plate to fit either above or alongside.
